Yes, he's holding both gloves in one hand. This is his summer uniform, since his elevator hangs on the outside of the building. The gloves are meant to be used with his winter uniform, but he sometimes uses them in summer anyway.
Next for the diagram is Justin, the elevator operator (or Lift Attendant because 🇬🇧) of the rodent haven. Justin is a rat and has worked hard to have a calm relaxed life. A skilled tinkerer and always willing to lend an ear, if you're willing to ride with him. Three more to go
Optimist: the cup is half full Pessimist: the cup is half empty Student: Yeah but which one is going to be on the test? Teacher: wha... both of them! Student: yeah, but which one is the *correct* one? Teacher: There is no correct or incorrect! I just spent an hour explaining that!
Optimist: the cup is half full Pessimist: the cup is half empty Comic Artist: Why are there so many cups of water in this script?! What does a cup of water even look like?! The script doesn’t even say how much water is in the cup! I guess I’ll just put like half the water in it?!
In this season of all our produce and berries and crap getting recalled from major grocery stores bc of contamination and parasites etc, I’ve never been happier that small farmers markets exist 😭 thank you for growing things and supporting our local communities, farmers
Omg you guys it’s farmers market season!! surely the farmers markets will cure me of The Horrors!! 🥕 🥗 🫑 🙏
'The Iron Giant,' 'Ratatouille,' and 'Spider-Verse' vet Michel Gagné spent 14 years hand-drawing the feature 'The Saga of Rex' almost entirely on his own. Today, he unveiled the first trailer for the long-awaited project, set to be finished by year's end: www.cartoonbrew.com/feature-film...

For almost all of them, they try to stick to their routines, but anxiety can keep them awake up to 3 days straight before crashing and sleeping an unniterrupted 24 hours
Does your original character sleep well? #OCASK #OCQOTD #OCSKY
This right here, this is why I insist *everyone* needs to know how to draw
You can make art to say things that you have no other way of saying. Often, abstraction can do complex feelings justice in a way realism or plain description cannot. Some distrust abstraction and think of it as deception, when actually it has the potential to be more honest than realism.

Chart updated! The arrows are getting a little unwieldly, but at least there's only two gaps left to fill in the bottom half now! (About half of those at the "alter" level were at the "main character" level when I started, forming a neat pyramid but… traumas strike hard… and they got "introjected")
No seriously, Jane is pear-shaped, Frank is oval-shaped, Susan is egg-shaped... but could I pull it off for *all* of my characters?
I should talk about the shape language of my characters
Today's intrusive thought is when I said that all I was looking in a girl is that she cared about me and had things for me to care about her... and how this had proved seemingly impossible to find ...yes, the depresion has not fully lifted yet
There's an interesting story behind each of the names on the arrows. For instance, Bobby calls his children "Little A" and "Little B" because, when they were little, they didn't want to learn the alphabet. Wanting to know what their nicknames meant proved a surprisingly strong motivator!
Looks like theres a new Robin Hood comic coming out so I’m just gonna put this right here: tomfowler.threadless.com/designs/oode...

The next alter for the diagram is Clara Redneck (a lot of my characters have literal names that have nothing to do with the connotations humans give them). Clara is rather quiet and reserved due to being hurt very deeply several times in her life. She is Alvin and Bonnie's mother, and Bobby's wife.
People, young and old, came to the witch for directions. "I seek adventure." "I seek wisdom." "I need a place to feel at home." "I feel like I need to cry, but I can't." The witch listened, and told all where to find what they sought. And the local library thrived. #CrossRepost
"Verify your age" The rotary dial on the telephone had a padlock to keep guests from making long-distance calls without the host's permission
"Verify your age" We played our video games on cartridges and floppies, and there was no such thing as "autosaving". You either had to play and get to a save spot or beat the whole game in one sitting.
"bot that tries to get people to give actual authors more money" is certainly not the worst use of AI
