It appears that the whole “migrants are a drain on the economy” argument isn’t nearly as robust as the interlocutors would like us to believe. Almost as though the rhetoric was purposefully incendiary and a thinly veiled attempt at scapegoating immigrants for the failure of multiple governments.
This is a great example of noise over signal. What effect will renaming the Army Reserve to the Territorial Army have to anyone’s day to day life? Nil. Zero. Sweet blue fuckall.

Imagine describing a willingness to apologise for the transatlantic slave trade as a “shock stance”. Not the enslavement nor the exploitation. Certainly not the millions of lives devastated. No, no - the suggestion that perhaps we should say sorry. Extraordinary editorial priorities.
Oh, do fuck off with the “Andrew faces fresh torment” nonsense. The story concerns police inquiries into visits involving Epstein and Maxwell. Mountbatten-Windsor’s discomfort is simply not the central human tragedy here. The survivors deserve the attention, not another fucking sympathy headline.

Some were raped but the majority put themselves in harms way because he was known for his serial prowess. He was famous in the papers for his conquests. Why go near him unless you were starstruck
Build the wall! Secure the border! Stop the migrants! Unless, of course, it’s a defeated right-wing politician fleeing a court order. Then apparently the Trumplethinskin White House becomes a rather exclusive immigration concierge service.
Women are not responsible for preventing men from raping them. Men are responsible for not raping women. The fact that you’ve managed to reverse those responsibilities while discussing actual rape allegations is fucking revolting. Be better, for Christ’s sake.

I simply cannot believe that we live in a time when a man accused of multiple sexual assaults against numerous women can look us all in the face and try to convince us that he, is in fact, some sort of victim. Russell Brand can go fuck himself.

I think you meant to write: “STOP THE YACHTS: Monaco faces invasion of British economic migrants arriving in search of better financial prospects.” Isn’t that so much more consistent with how we usually discuss economic migration?

I posted a Truth Social screenshot from Trumplethinskin this morning where he was already stating that the Republicans would sweep the midterm elections next week. On double checking, I realised it was a fake. It has now been deleted, and my apologies for that! I will be more careful in future. 🐻
Fantastic news! I can’t wait to measure my garden in roods, buy potatoes by the peck and calculate my commute in furlongs. All so people who’ve not used imperial in 40 years can get a patriotic erection before realising they haven’t a fucking clue what a scruple is.
To be fair, I’d probably need at least 18 baths a day to wash away the shame of joining Reform UK, too. Although I suspect that particular stain might be permanent.
In the past 10 years we’ve only stayed in an Airbnb about three times - it was after the third time when we were not only charged a £40 cleaning fee for a one night stay, but then also expected to wash the floors, at which point I said “fuck this for a game of soldiers.” Still not using them.
Can we trade Liz Truss for a lettuce? The actual value to society would be far higher than what she’s currently offering.
If nothing else, she's below minimum wage based on those figures and should consider joining a union.
