Great night with @stuhennigan.bsky.social at @drakebookshop.bsky.social. Stu's one of my favourite writers and I could listen to him talk for hours. Fascinating to hear about the process behind - and hear him read from - his novel #Keshed (which I finished on Monday - brutal but brilliant!).
Always great to be at Drake, one of my favourite bookshops. First event I've done since the London one in March so was raring to go for this and it was an absolute banger. Ta very muchly to everyone who came. Great audience with some brilliant questions, everything I love about doing this 😀

Know Nic for years online so what a treat to meet in person. Social media has a terrible rep but it's brought me into contact with so many ace people, no complaints from me. Cracking night, this, really engaged audience while I did my ranty swearing gobshite schtick. Top stuff.

Heartbreaking stuff in his previous project on homelessness in the UK. I spoke at the opening of the touring exhibition a couple of years ago, and i've arranged for it to come to Leeds through work next year. No amount of political whitewash can cover these. marcdavenant.com/exhibitions/...
