In Norway their main gender clinic was taken over by some "Gender Critical" wacko who made it much harder for trans people to access care (as always based on no evidence at all). They also allegedly used patient data without their consent. They've now been actually reprimanded for that

This basically. Labour has relentlessly increased the salience of the issues Reform prioritises, whilst winning over basically no Reform voters, and simultaneously alienating their own base. It's just terrible politics.

It has lost voters to Reform, but these are a fairly unique fragment of their 2024 voters, v unlike those staying loyal or the greater number defecting to the Greens + LDs.

On the other hand, when Jennicet Gutiérrez asked Obama to end the abuse of trans women in ICE detention and stop all deportations, while at a White House Pride event in 2015, Obama mocked her to her face and she was thrown out and briefly detained.
