Today we got a fantastic update from PhD student Eve Galen on the results from last year's ocean campaign through the Atlantic-Arctic and 2 different phytoplankton blooms.

In today's VOLT-all meeting we learnt about a cool model moss system to study interactions between mosses and cyanobacteria. Thomas Ammitsøe reported exciting findings related to nitrogen cycling in the system. We look forward to hearing what volatile signals are exchanged between the organisms.

Today we have a special guest at our VOLT-all meeting: Mirjam Meischner, who will soon join us as a postdoc from July. She gave a very nice overview of her previous work at Freiburg on #VOC emissions from soils, roots and shoots of woody plant species, and revealed a bit of future plans at VOLT.
