Rose City Comic Con was an absolute treat, as was signing with Terry Brooks at Powell's in Beaverton. My weekend was filled with amazing moments-- I saw Weezer! I hugged a llama! I ate gluten free goodies! I saw friends! I beheld live condors!!!-- but there were two moments that really stood out. 1/

When I went to get my nose pierced at SDCC, the piercer kindly informed me that I do not have the right anatomy for a septum piercing. I never noticed my deviated septum until they pointed it out, and now I CAN'T STOP SEEING IT. WHY IS IT SO DEVIATED.

Just got an email for a Kickstarter for an AI Golf Companion, and honestly I have never hated the intersection of three words so much? Is there a step beyond Unsubscribe? Beyond Spam? Can I damn this email to a thousand fiery hells? Absolutely not for me, and I'm offended you considered it.
