Saw Built to Spill in 2001, Doug played a short solo acoustic set, then BTS played, then Calvin Johnson came out and they did 30-40 minutes of Halo Benders songs, Calvin pulled people onstage (including me) to dance during an epic “Don’t Touch My Bikini”

Seeing Silkworm again for two nights this past weekend was as even better than the astounding shows I saw them play last September. Every moment was as loud and ripping and beautiful as you could hope.
