Took the 2.5 year old to his first theatrical movie yesterday (TS 5), remarkably we all survived sans meltdown considering we all got woken up at 4AM due to the batteries in our smoke alarms dying and no one got back to sleep
Hadn't listened to this record in a minute, probably the best I've ever been at guitar, and @nmarkowski.bsky.social plays the shit out of the drums (and adds extra random yelling)

Finally got a chance to listen to that new Sleep song and woof, it's worse than I'd imagined. I didn't know you could make drums sound that shitty in this day and age.

Great episode, did not realize that Britt and Pajo play all the guitar on "Don, Aman" or that it was basically sprung on the rest of the band in the studio. Still a beautiful sounding record, the closest any 90s rock record came to sounding like A Kind of Blue or something

If you don't live in Seattle you may not realize what's absolutely wild about this is that she drove 1/4 of a mile on the tracks without noticing and that platform is 35 feet above ground!
