I've been here less than an hour and I'm already over it because of how crowded it is. At the VERY least, they should charge out of state guests more. Anyone from Wisconsin has to pay $100.

That plan would have cut services and given the richest 1% a $40k/year tax cut. Red state or blue state, everyone wants a fair tax code to fund our society.

My beloved little campaign trailer was lifted off my bike in Standish (in broad daylight!) yesterday. Not a tragedy, but an excuse to post some pictures of the fond memories. She was a key part of the campaign 🫡🫡🫡

I am increasingly impatient with the use of space in this city. Too many streets for cars and not people. Narrow sidewalks with no seating. Not a bathroom in sight. And then we wonder why commercial corridors sit quiet. Look what we do with a little breathing room! This should be every day.

But then you realize you're also completely naked. And then someone you thought was a friend looks away in disgust and refuses to nominate you for the DFL endorsement.
I am in downtown Detroit for a conference and the amount of beautiful, people-centered public space is absolutely stunning.
Great for New York, great for KAT, great for Democratic Socialism, great for people who believe the world can be different and surprising in good ways 🧡💙
