Anyone else been getting a bunch of random friend requests on discord lately? Like no shared servers, no mutual friends, mostly obvious bots. It's weird, I feel like my account must be on a list somewhere.

YouTube glitches out sometimes on my phone when the aspect ratio of a preview is different, where it'll show a short loop from the last thing I viewed underneath the current video preview. So now here's Jacksfilms' ReactBot watching Gemini Home Entertainment.

A screenshot of the Gemini Home Entertainment video "THE [REDACTED] PLUSH". In the bottom right corner of the video is JacksFilms' character, ReactBot.

AI crap has made me lose my love for technology. I genuinely wish I just went for some sort of art program instead of this compsci shit where the instructors teaching us js are like "look at this website I generated in 10 seconds. Youre only learning these hard skills to pass the course btw"

Pokemon in powerscaling discussions are funny because there's always people saying shit like "well their opponent looks edgy clearly they're a dark type" motherfucker would you say a character is an earthbender because they're rough and covered in coal dust. That's not how that works

just like hackers have black hat and white hat, and wizards and witches have black and white magic practitioners, novices who think they're hot shit because they found a couple cheap spells that work in most unsecured locations are called "scroll kiddies"

was watching a vhs recording of star wars episode 1 in a vc and since it was fox in 2004 it had an ad for a terrible reality show that's basically the bachelorette except there were gay men among us impostors. it had a fucking gaydar clip and we all burst out laughing it was just so insane

metroid fusion complete... first metroid game i've actually beaten, really fun. things are directed well without holding your hand and you have to think outside the box often to get through rooms but it never feels particularly tedious.

I think every now and again how the "near-future" containment fiction thing me and my friends made in 2017 was set in 2024 because 7 years felt like a relatively long amount of time where a lot could change. It is now 2026 and we're still talking about that story.

you ever write a long ranting reply to something stupid and then when you finish and get it out of your system you're like "wait i dont want people to argue with me" so you just don't post it. its awesome

It's crazy how every time I get a vtuber recommended to me by youtube I have to check their socials to make sure they're not a terrible person because genuinely 50% of the time they are (if they list Kick as a platform it's a speedrun skip to stop watching)

Phenomenon that bothers the fuck out of me and has only become more common with time as people broadly become more reactionary. From personal experience, creators beating allegations tends to come down more to how much people want to actually hate them, and how ravenous their fans are about it.

Person talking about negative experience with a creator: hey this is my experience I have to get it out there since its eating me up inside, to get people to treat interactions with them with skepticism, and to avoid questions about why im not working with them anymore. Please do not harass anyone.

Guy who emits reddit particles: errrm, evidence? I'm going to reply to this post dismissively and sarcastically while feigning that I'm actually an objective actor who wants to hear both sides. Actually, I just like this random creator I don't actually know and emotionally this post feels like an attack on my identity because I don't want to be a fan of a social pariah. If they respond in any way that isn't outright confirmation of the allegations I'll pretend as if their doc was a brilliant rebuttal even if it wasn't like at all and shit up the OP's replies (because they're an evil liar 100%)
