There’s a scene in Hiroyuki Kanno’s Xenon where the protagonist wakes up in Tracy’s bedroom and just when you expect an H-scene, you’re given a lecture on parapsychology. I’ve written about it before, but it’s an eroge whose atmosphere is at times reminiscent of films like Solaris and La Jetée.

As always: Pirates, emulator devs, modders, and amateur archivists across the internet are so damn important to ensuring that it remains possible to play most video games far into the future. Also: We need PC ports. Even a bad PC port can be fixed up by fans and made playable for years to come.
