I’ve decided to end my campaign for Governor of New York. After much consideration, I’ve concluded that there simply is no viable path forward.
Lt. Governor Antonio Delgado

New York wouldn’t be the same without our Puerto Rican community, and Bad Bunny’s music and culture is what the U.S. is all about. Happy Benito Bowl, everyone!
Today I stood outside House Committee on Homeland Security Chairmain Rep. Garbarino’s office on Long Island with community leaders, demanding accountability from ICE ahead of this week’s hearings in Congress. @islipforward.bsky.social
You don’t get to call yourself pro-labor while kneecapping nurses fighting for fair pay and safe staffing. That’s not solidarity. That’s donor service. NYers deserve leaders who choose the people, every time. That’s why I’m running for Lt. Governor.
I stand with working people. Period. Especially the @nynurses.bsky.social on strike right now. I’m a nurse. I’ve seen what happens when hospitals put profits over patients, and when politicians like Kathy Hochul help them get away with it.

NEW: The NY WFP has endorsed placeholder candidates for both governor and comptroller. That means no to both Hochul and Delgado for guv, and DiNapoli for comptroller. I exclusively spoke with party leaders after the vote about the outcome www.cityandstateny.com/politics/202...
Inside the New York State Democratic Party convention, they talked about who we’re fighting against. Outside, in the cold, we were clear about who we’re fighting for: striking @nynurses.bsky.social and the people who are tired of corporate greed all across New York.
Inside the New York State Democratic Party convention in Syracuse: a rubber-stamp coronation for Kathy Hochul and Adrienne Adams. Outside the convention hall: @nynurses.bsky.social on day 26 of their strike, because the governor’s order lets hospitals hire replacement nurses.
The time to invest in renewable energy was YESTERDAY. In fact, it’s a LAW. The governor has chosen to ignore it, along with a host of other inexcusable choices like approving Trump’s new oil pipeline. Sunrise Movement NYC knows what’s up. 🌎🌅🗽
You cannot claim to be on the side of labor if you sabotage a union strike. The governor has repeatedly extended an executive order letting hospitals bring in visiting nurses, gutting the strike’s leverage. @nynurses.bsky.social deserve fair contracts. jacobin.com/2026/02/gove...
Governor Kathy Hochul Is Undermining Striking New York Nurses

Striking members of @nynurses.bsky.social at Montefiore Hospital just lost their health insurance. All because they want things like safe staff-to-patient ratios, which keeps them AND their patients safe. Shame. www.bxtimes.com/montefiore-n...

Ignoring New York’s housing crisis, despite your own comptroller sounding the alarm, is negligent. The REST Act would make it easier for municipalities outside NYC to adopt rent stabilization. And yet it sits. Why? Ask the real estate lobbyists. www.osc.ny.gov/press/releas...
V alarming — and no surprise to us. Home care workers & recipients have been denied transparency on how a $9B contract was handed to a failed PE company, or how that $ is spent. @delgadoforny.bsky.social demanded transparency, & he isn’t taking $$ from corporate PACs! nysfocus.com/2026/01/20/h...
As She Raises Millions, Hochul Isn’t Saying Who She’s Meeting With
The governor’s meeting logs are 15 months out of date, and she won’t release her calendar.

450k New Yorkers on the Essential Plan will lose health insurance from federal funding cuts unless we tax the rich. Premiums will skyrocket for everyone else and medical debt will worsen. There's a logical way out here. TAX THE RICH and PASS THE NEW YORK HEALTH ACT.
Zohran won't be able to deliver universal childcare or fast & free buses unless we tax the rich. Phara's and John's bill is 1 of 3 we need to make that happen. FYI: Governor Hochul is opposed to all 3 bills; @delgadoforny.bsky.social supports all 3. www.cityandstateny.com/opinion/2026...
The group is named "Citizens for Affordable Rates." What she's proposing would cap insurance payouts if you're hurt in a car accident, in the hopes that car insurance companies, out of the goodness of their hearts, will lower their monthly premiums. Be serious, Hochul.

Sam Hodge has been a progressive fighter in New York for years, and will make for an excellent assemblymember. Excited to cross-endorse with him to deliver meaningful change across our state. Let’s win this.

Opinion: Millionaires must pay their fair share to ensure NYC’s affordability
The Fair Share Act would enact a modest 2% surcharge on incomes over $1 million.

New from me and @liunewyork.bsky.social in @cityandstateny.bsky.social Why NYC’s millionaires should pay their fair share to make up for Trump’s tax cuts and fund the city we all deserve (Except it’s not that new because we’ve been saying this for a while 😉) www.cityandstateny.com/opinion/2026...
The reason that NYSNA is asking Governor Hochul to support the striking nurses is that Hochul recently issued an executive order that makes it easier for the hospitals to hire strikebreaker staff—which, to state the obvious, makes it harder for the strike to succeed. www.op.nysed.gov/governor-hoc...

I unequivocally support striking nurses and @nynurses.bsky.social in their demands for safe staffing, fair pay, and better healthcare. Siding with hospital CEOs makes Gov. Hochul's allegiances clear. Show your support here: act.nysna.org/page/93443/a...
the affected hospitals have spent more than ONE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS on “short-term staffing” aka scab travel nurses. Yes Kathy is doing this in an election year and she has a primary challenger, @delgadoforny.bsky.social www.nytimes.com/2026/02/02/n...
In midtown, striking nurses are marching on Kathy Hochul’s office, calling out an emergency order she signed allowing traveling nurses to work in NY during the strike. They say that move has prolonged the strike and is a handout to the hospital system.
Trans rights are human rights. And New Yorkers deserve a governor who will actually fight to protect them.

It’s Black History Month, and from now on, I’m going to get more personal with all of you. I know a lot of New Yorkers are hurting, scared, and angry.
Great evening on Staten Island at the Alliance of South Asian American Labor Inauguration and Reception Ceremony! The ASAAL is at the forefront of advocacy work within the South Asian community - promoting social justice, civic engagement and community empowerment.
In December, Gov. Hochul vetoed the New York Health Information Privacy Act, leaving sensitive health data open to exploitation. That puts trans New Yorkers seeking gender-affirming care at risk as the federal government ramps up its attack on the transgender community.
Governor Hochul unveiled a proposal to bar local police from signing contracts with ICE. But many localities collaborate with ICE without contracts, and Hochul’s proposal wouldn’t change that. Here’s what you need to know: nysfocus.com/2026/01/31/hochul-sanctuary-ice-immigration-287g-jail-bill
I'm peeved by a governor refusing to tax the rich while New Yorkers can’t afford rent, healthcare, or groceries.
