Lt. Governor Antonio Delgado

@delgadoforny.bsky.social

Lt. Governor of New York. Dad. Husband. Colgate & Harvard Law alum. FKA AD the Voice.

You don’t get to call yourself pro-labor while kneecapping nurses fighting for fair pay and safe staffing. That’s not solidarity. That’s donor service. NYers deserve leaders who choose the people, every time. That’s why I’m running for Lt. Governor.

The time to invest in renewable energy was YESTERDAY. In fact, it’s a LAW. The governor has chosen to ignore it, along with a host of other inexcusable choices like approving Trump’s new oil pipeline. Sunrise Movement NYC knows what’s up. 🌎🌅🗽

V alarming — and no surprise to us. Home care workers & recipients have been denied transparency on how a $9B contract was handed to a failed PE company, or how that $ is spent. @delgadoforny.bsky.social demanded transparency, & he isn’t taking $$ from corporate PACs! nysfocus.com/2026/01/20/h...

As She Raises Millions, Hochul Isn’t Saying Who She’s Meeting With

The governor’s meeting logs are 15 months out of date, and she won’t release her calendar.

450k New Yorkers on the Essential Plan will lose health insurance from federal funding cuts unless we tax the rich. Premiums will skyrocket for everyone else and medical debt will worsen. There's a logical way out here. TAX THE RICH and PASS THE NEW YORK HEALTH ACT.

Zohran won't be able to deliver universal childcare or fast & free buses unless we tax the rich. Phara's and John's bill is 1 of 3 we need to make that happen. FYI: Governor Hochul is opposed to all 3 bills; @delgadoforny.bsky.social supports all 3. www.cityandstateny.com/opinion/2026...

The group is named "Citizens for Affordable Rates." What she's proposing would cap insurance payouts if you're hurt in a car accident, in the hopes that car insurance companies, out of the goodness of their hearts, will lower their monthly premiums. Be serious, Hochul.

The move came weeks after Hochul proposed measures to lower the cost of auto insurance.

Opinion: Millionaires must pay their fair share to ensure NYC’s affordability

The Fair Share Act would enact a modest 2% surcharge on incomes over $1 million.

New from me and @liunewyork.bsky.social in @cityandstateny.bsky.social Why NYC’s millionaires should pay their fair share to make up for Trump’s tax cuts and fund the city we all deserve (Except it’s not that new because we’ve been saying this for a while 😉) www.cityandstateny.com/opinion/2026...

The reason that NYSNA is asking Governor Hochul to support the striking nurses is that Hochul recently issued an executive order that makes it easier for the hospitals to hire strikebreaker staff—which, to state the obvious, makes it harder for the strike to succeed. www.op.nysed.gov/governor-hoc...

I unequivocally support striking nurses and @nynurses.bsky.social in their demands for safe staffing, fair pay, and better healthcare. Siding with hospital CEOs makes Gov. Hochul's allegiances clear. Show your support here: act.nysna.org/page/93443/a...

In December, Gov. Hochul vetoed the New York Health Information Privacy Act, leaving sensitive health data open to exploitation. That puts trans New Yorkers seeking gender-affirming care at risk as the federal government ramps up its attack on the transgender community.
