As another year draws to a close remember that your career is only one part of life, kindness matters, and the rock that sits atop the mountain is no more important than the ones which form the base. Let the dumpster fire that was 2025 propel you into 2026 and enjoy another chapter of the ride.

The year wrapped up nicely last week. Finished my edits on my latest novel and sent it to the editor, got a biomedical AI paper published in MELBA journal, and my paper on incorporating consent in AI systems "Consentful-by-Design" was accepted at AI & Society journal, my proudest paper to date 🙌
