Okay, Spider-Man was amazing. Particular nod to the three-way (not like that, smutty) between Spidey, <redacted> and <redacted>, the, ah, unusual office, and the closing moment, between Peter and, well, go see it :)

Crops grown underneath solar panels produce more, require less water and are more resistant to extreme weather, even during a hot, dry summer. We need agrivoltaics to be rolled out asap, for both the electricity and the better growing conditions. microgridmedia.com/solar-panels...

Fascinating take. I have a #Manga section full of kids (older ones, but still) who buy/collect the books after reading the stories online, like they want the physical reminder of having enjoyed the thing. Don't have figures, but would love to know!

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

Jezero Crater, Mars, seen on 27 July 2026. There is nothing—and I emphasise nothing—we humans could do to Earth that would make it less hospitable than Mars. So should we send astronauts there? Yes! Absolutely! But we will never colonise Mars, nor should we.

A cold, dead planet.

Last one, promise :) This was the first proof I had printed, and it's definitely all askew, but still, it's been signed and left in new lodgings, this time in #Cheam. Perhaps it can find new readers, who knows?

Lugan Vision Quest by Danie Ware, cover art by Thomas S Brown. Sun is rising behind a derelict, overgrown city, surrounded by creeper. A man in a leather jacket stands looking at the semi-ruin, and the light, reflected in the river.
