DHS SAVE database has long and documented history of producing false positives of non-citizens voting, leading to sensational headlines of alleged voter fraud that turn out to be untrue on closer inspection. In St. Louis County, MO, for example at least 81% of the names flagged were incorrect

Trump claimed in speech DHS found 278,000 noncitizens registered to vote. Turns out that number was 10,716 based on report they just released. Even that # likely wildly inflated due to false positives & inaccuracies in SAVE database

Big news: Georgia Republicans have dropped their plans to pass new gerrymanders targeting Black Democrats today over fears of energizing Dem turnout this fall. They planned to pass new maps for 2028 in case they lose the 2026 governor’s race. They could still do it in the lame-duck period though
