Visiting the San Diego zoo safari park, got to see some favorites! Cassowary (first one I’ve seen in person!), sand cat, desert bighorn, Sumatran tiger
So begins the road trip down to San Diego/La Jolla, excited to see some new and different mountains. Haven’t seen that part of the state yet!
Sitting in the hotel lobby waiting for Jondi while he’s grabbing the rental car and this is an overstimulation nightmare. Power washer going outside, strong pine sol being used to mop inside, scooting chairs as they reset from breakfast, TV blasting local news, and pop music even louder on top.
Fun night! My feet are DEAD after 4 park days and I’m looking forward to the drive to San Diego tomorrow since there isn’t any more walking involved.
Trick or treating at Disneyland was pretty cool! We didn’t really get on the grind like some people but this is a decent haul

Here’s the most incredible story you’ll read today. A small plane with four people aboard crashes in a field. Another pilot witnesses it. That pilot happens to be flying a bunch of skydivers. They offer to jump to assist, are given permission. The skydivers happen to be EMTs. Everyone survives.
