The most absolutely massive flex from the state fair exhibit. This quilt is made of 40 years of prize ribbons from various categories at the New Mexico State Fair won by Carol St. Clair Johnson. She also won a prize for this quilt.

Had a great time at the Tacoma Open this weekend! Took home the 2nd place for Best Painted Army for my Stormcast, and a Silver for Tornus in the Open Painting competiton. ⚡ #warhammer #warhammercommunity #ageofsigmar
Went to a baseball game, more invested in the saga of this parachuting hot dog that got stuck on the camera cable.
they keep letting people go on record and say "don't worry everyone, we only replaced our concept artists with ai" as if the concept artists aren't the entire skeleton of the thing. you took the bones out, man. look at it flippin and floppin around. fuck off
A metalsmith I know does some of the most amazing, fantasy style knives out there. This one is a collaboration between Dellana Warren and Van Barnett. Solid gold and sterling silver, with hundreds of sapphires, diamonds and ruby’s . 11.5" inches overall, all done by hand.
NEW: Bungie is planning a significant layoff following the end of Destiny 2's development. Destiny 3 is NOT in active production. Some Bungie staff are pitching and prototyping new ideas including Destiny games, but none are yet greenlit. Story: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Destiny's going to have a special place in my heart for a long long time. Forever grateful for all of the memories with my clanmates, raids (and wipes), weasel errors, telesto glitches, the gorgeous environments, dance parties in the tower, & getting killed by the architects (or Pockets). Aiat.💠

It should honestly be very simple: is it trained on copyrighted material? Done. Thats it. It’s illegal. There are no other arguments to be made. There’s all sorts of other arguments we can make after that, but until they fix that then it doesn’t matter. It’s illegal. They should be in jail.
Grey day, but a great day for some roasted garlic focaccia.
if I can roll out of bed after waking up ten minutes ago, horribly sick and with the scratchest voice ever, and call my reps demanding impeachment proceedings at the minimum, you can too
At the very least someone (Jeffries) force an impeachment vote immediately and make the entire GOP support the clearcut threat of genocide
Lots of tech dudes think the "idea" is the important part of creating, not the creative journey you take through work to give that idea actual meaning. Ideas are the easiest, cheapest and least fulfilling part of it. Giving ideas life through work, and sharing that work with others, is the stuff.
the Mountain Goats@themountaingoats.bsky.social · 6mo agoSeriously it’s like there is a giant chunk of tech people who don’t understand that when you’ve learned how to write, you feel proud, you look forward to doing more of it, you cheerfully neglect your other work just so you can write more
Happy International day of Transgender Visibility! All my homies say Trans Rights are Human Rights / anyone who's cool knows it too. We see you out there. Choose to be yourself and know that we have your back. Much love and respect today (and every day)! 🏳️⚧️ #transrights #transdayofvisibility
Oh no! Boston was on the power play and someone scored! But it wasn't Boston 😏 Mikyla Grant-Mentis says "take some of Grant-MenTHIS!" on a breakaway and we have tied the game AND the jailbreak rule means no more power play for Boston. #SeattleTorrent
In case you’re just waking up, the U.S. has teamed up with Israel overnight to start an illegal war of regime change, apparently on a presidential whim with no involvement of Congress, and they are already committing horrific atrocities.

Never a good sign when appliance installers look at your plumbing and say "I've never seen anything like that before" 🙃
Finished up Tornus this weekend! Pushed myself super hard on this one with nmm and lighting. I really wanted to try to do my best to hit display quality for the first time, and I'm really proud of how he turned out. 💙 #warhammer #warhammercommunity #minipainting #ageofsigmar #stormcasteternals
The “prosecute the former regime at every level” candidate has my vote in 2028.
