PhD Candidate @University of Hamburg – Keynes and the 18th century

An exciting new article by Kristofer Pitz and Luigi Salvati! Sraffa’s Production of Commodities by Means of Commodities brings forth a threefold challenge to the predominant marginalist paradigm in economics. They propose a re-linking of Marxian, Sraffian, and Keynesian critique

Recommended reading (especially for students): Zachary Carter's book on Keynes and the rise and fall of Keynesianism. We can learn a lot about Keynes' ideas and the depth to which post-war Keynesianism turned away from them. Keynes was not only an economist, but also an important political thinker.
