Doggust day 3: Jagdterrier (and rock purslane.) I see this type of succulent a lot, always super tall and leaning in an illustrative manner. Almost ideal for a small dog to walk under. #doggust2026

QRP with old art they you are still glad exists! This one of my first “sequential” illustrations I drew with Hollis and Rowhan. I wanted to challenge myself either way color and emotion… While I know I’m a stronger artist now, I am still glad these panels exist! #timbercomic #rowllis #lgbtqia
I finished crocheting the main body of the blanket I’m making as a surprise gift. I finished on Thursday last week, and I sewed in the last yarn end at midnight last night. As you can see from this pile, it was A LOT of sewing!
I didn't have a name for this robin, but I've since taken to calling it 'Bobert' after Sean Hennessy's name for the one who visits his garden. For my part, this was inspired by 'my' robin in Ruskin Park ; 'Donwell', as I call the place, after Mr. Knightley's estate in Jane Austen's Emma.
T o o h o t t o p a i n t I'm laying my ambivalence with the piece squarely at the door of this, the fourth UK heatwave this year.
I'm ready to start sewing the rows. I labeled every pieced block with its corresponding row. Since the pattern is on the diagonal, the labels will (hopefully) make sure I keep them in order. The topmost blocks are pinned in place and I need a stepladder to get them down. But not tonight.

#showmeyourknits this weeks is shawls - the one that started it all! 😄 To celebrate the start of a new year of #showmeyourknits I went to find the first shawl I ever knitted, which was the FunFunFun Shawl in August 2018! I decided to pair it with my most recent shawl the Imagineur! 🧶✨
