Going on a trip for basically two weeks starting tomorrow with no wifi or cell service and I am so ready.
When you live in a neighborhood with the word “Hill” as part of the name it does feel a little validating that my phone thinks I went up several flights of stairs on my way home from the grocery store. It does feel that way.
Sometimes when doing genealogy research you stumble upon stuff that leaves you speechless.
I feel like within 5 minutes talking to someone I can tell if they had a making chainmail phase and it is rarely the people you expect them to be
There’s a woman at my nearby park that hangs out and if you wait long enough, no more than five minutes, a dog will be within eyeshot and go apeshit when seeing this lady. Apparently every dog in the neighborhood knows and loves this woman. They run right to her, dragging their owners. Beautiful.
I'm so mad the blue angels are in town starting tomorrow, we just got the cat normal after the weeks of fireworks
I think the discussion is fun because my baseline is that there’s never been a good adaptation of anything, that’s just how adaptations go. Here for the ride.
Every year I make stuff for @waywardretreats.bsky.social and it winds up being the stuff I have most fun with in the year, it feels like making stuff for a lake cult secret society that is being slowly carved out. It's a perfect thing.
I love buying a sketch book pretending I’m going to use it for more than 3 pages
Went to the Seattle Zine Feat on Sunday and I’ve concluded the best zines I got were printed and stapled in the corner like a school paper, about civil and labor rights fanfics filling in the gaps of why someone disappeared for a bit or how the IWW founder’s lost eye allowed him to see through time
I could a few years ago but it is really wild to me that there’s a consignment shop a few blocks from me that I can’t afford to buy anything at. I just looked at a $170 used ass polyester shirt, excuse me?
okay. breaking an extremely long hiatus from making new bumper stickers for this. Ordering tomorrow, hopefully available to purchase next week!!!
I need all this dirty soda stuff to get out of my face. Pick up a cigarette already.
I've been so stupid depressed lately but I spent the whole day hacking at my tiny yard and at the very least now I'm tired and filled with a day of touching plants.
I need to finish out the set, was aiming for 12 but here’s 8 wine illustrations I did for mini prints this month

I am search of some cool new vendors to join wintertide this year! Send me your cool stuff man!
I was having too pleasant a time with the weather so of course next week the Blue Angels are coming to practice and burn money over my home next week
The only places allowed to have this are Greek diners that have not touched their fake plants since 1987, those are structural and emotional pillars of our culture
We are fully back into some 90's HGTV style DIY times and I am begging you to think about how often you realistically dust before putting that many fake plants in your space. Me and my dust allergy buddies are begging you. Learn from our mothers and aunts.

I’m giving you permission to offload that plant you got/propagated from a friend that’s no longer in your life. You can’t blame the plant but you don’t need to tend to a Bad Memory Factory if it’s doing that to you.
