Pursuant to the Court’s order issued on October 6, 2026 (Doc. 14), undersigned counsel is engaging in daily check-ins and meetings with Petitioner’s counsel and the assigned points of contact with the relevant departments. Currently, Respondents are attempting to confirm Petitioner’s exact location and custody status with personnel in Equatorial Guinea. The Department of Homeland Security is preparing a declaration with additional details on return efforts that will be filed on Monday as a follow-up status report.

These guys in the U.S. Attorney's Office in Arizona think a judge's order is a suggestion. On the left is Judge Hinderaker's 10/6 order in the case of a gay man the Trump admin sent to Equatorial Guinea, where he has faced beatings and threats to his life. On the right is all that DOJ filed today.

10.
