Breaking: The stays on the Project Jupiter permits have been lifted. More details to follow as we figure out what this means for the air quality permit hearing and the next steps for the massive data center build

Currently New Mexico is ranked in the top ten of biggest AI Data Center power consumers by state, which includes both planned and operational data centers.

Earlier today, YUCCA team members briefly met with Stephanie Garcia Richard after her press conference to share our open letter calling on elected officials to invest in New Mexico's energy future by acquiring the $400 million in stock that Blackstone had illegally purchased from PNM.

Big tech is quietly building 100+ data centers on or near tribal land. Tribes can’t always prevent it because jurisdictional lines are blurry, but many of them are fighting back. Data centers are impacting many communities. How are they affecting yours?

Environmental groups are celebrating after the New Mexico Supreme Court put a pause on air and water permitting processes for Project Jupiter. The groups argued there was a lack of due process in the proceedings and favored the data center's interests. searchlightnm.org/new-mexico-s...

"Stop Project Jupiter" Protest outside of NMED today in Santa Fe had a great turn out. Protestors put together a 'web of corruption' skit, showing the interconnections between key public figures who are fast tracking the massive AI data center construction project in Doña Ana County.

Deny the permits and STOP PROJECT JUPITER! Join us this Friday, August 21st from 12-1pm at the New Mexico Environment Department at 1190 St. Francis Drive, Santa Fe, NM Why is a so-called “Climate governor” and our own Environment department fast tracking the biggest polluter in New Mexico?

Flyer of a javelina yelling "Project Jupiter is not welcome."

🐗 If the javelinas could yell at Oracle and Open AI they would be telling these out-of-state corporations to back off. There is no water for them, and definitely none to power Project Jupiter's massive AI Data Center complex. STOP PROJECT JUPITER!

New Mexicans' voices must be heard! What happened last night in the Doña Ana County Commission hearing over Project Jupiter is unacceptable. New Mexicans have been clear: they don’t want their public lands, waters, and taxpayer dollars going to unchecked and unregulated data centers.

This morning the NMPRC voted to sell New Mexico Gas Co. To Louisiana based Bernhard Captial Partners for $1.25 Billion dollars. This comes in the same week as a public hearing for Blackstones buyout of NM's biggest electric company PNM.

Today the Public Regulation Commission (PRC) is holding a 6 hour public comment hearing at UNM. But how are ratepayers supposed to give meaningful public comment when the merger is on pause?
