Marie Lundquist My memory lines up the alphabet so that I can throw knives at it. Each word carries an executioner’s hood pulled down over its past. My father climbs up on rickety ladders and screws new light into fly-speckled lamps. Always this care for the things. About the enlightened child.

Kim Echlin’s Tell Others: Storytelling for a World in Crisis is a book I think everyone should read. It made me think about how literature offers us hope as humans, how it can be powerful as a force for change, & it made me think about the many stories that are out in the world. Highly recommend.
