I just spent an hour at the DMV and it was absolutely PACKED, but everyone was being patient and polite. The two dudes who met in the line behind me compared notes about the best AA meetings because one guy was new to town and didn’t like the one he tried. These are the moments that give me hope.

i do not think the mainstream press is equipped or capable of covering ideological white nationalists and eugenicists as such, or even capable of noting that this is what they are. it is related to the wide belief that racism is simply a matter of manners.

Just did a quick look at a few channels on YouTube livestreaming Senator Booker's marathon speech. Currently: C-SPAN - 66k+ live viewers Cory Booker's channel - 49k+ AP - 41k+ MSNBC - 14k+ PBS NewsHour - 8.3k+ This matters. Optics matter. Seeing leadership DO SOMETHING matters.
