Watching Child’s Play with the kids. I never got into that series but it’s fun watching it with them. I totally never knew Brad Dourif was Chucky! I mainly knew (and loved) him from Exorcist 3
I told my kid about the cool people I met yesterday at a Horror book event and he patiently waited for me to finish and then said “have you ever met any famous *actors*?”

Most of the way thru watching Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum. Really loving how well-done the characters are, and it is a *damn* scary entry into the found footage genre! The scares feel original too.

my fave HS story I told my kids was one I made to be an enemies-to-lovers story but it has a twist. I finally started thinking he wasn’t so vile after being suckered into driving him somewhere. But when I arrived at his destination he thanked me, then farted in my car and laughed before getting out

Grumbus is a hairy, burly, wide-shouldered man who wears athletic tanks and has a huge bristly mustache and when he works out in the gym he gets off the treadmill, swigs his water loudly, and says to his neighbor in a vague New England accent “do this every day and yu’ll feel light on yer feet”
Lauren Bolger@renbolger.bsky.social · 2w agoI have some really great names, courtesy of the name randomizer in Stardew Valley. I have chickens named Pulley, Frarley, Grumbus, and Gra. They’d be fun to put in a story, and you had to decide what they were like based on their weird names.
