This is called a Flower of an Hour. It blooms for only a short time per day. I saw one on a gravel shoulder of a road a couple weeks ago and haven't seen it since. This is considered invasive in Minnesota.

Here is a more recent photo of the butterfly milkweed, still not showing up as orange as it should. Once others start blooming out in the open, rather than in the shade of bushes, the color should be brighter.

This little one patiently let me take several photos, but after 2 weeks I still don't know what this is. Every identifier I've tried has given me a different answer. If you recognize this, please let me know.
