One sees articles with titles like “everyone hates AI”. They don’t mention the power of LLMs for accessing expert information. Is it possible that attitudes towards AI (warm vs cold) have become a single item measure of the strength of people’s accuracy/epistemic motivations?

Something this sad Arday story reminded me of is that it's possible to have ppl who do their best to do actual social Science (learn methods, coding, pre-reg, replication), while others will just do 'auto-ethnographic' papers based on a few introspections.
