Victor’s right. If we take him seriously (we should) gta reckon w fact that every uni that sheds DEI and says “time to double down on academic excellence” (👋 Ivies) is saying a university can be segregated and be excellent. That’s no less racist than Trump. bsky.app/profile/vict...
When, in January 2025, I wrote that the Trump administration was segregationist folks said I was exaggerating. I would have *loved* to be wrong about this but the unfortunate evidence remains on my side. This is just racism, pure and simple.

Yale President McInnis has been telling people that Yale has no choice but to negotiate a settlement with the Trump administration. This is a willful misreading of the law and as such, a lie. A resolution process is voluntary and legal scholars have been pushing back. 1/ abcnews.com/US/yale-face...
They are using trans people to establish the state‘s right to optimize people’s future reproductive labor according to its preferences.
I can’t put into words the fury this reporting fills me with. How more indignity must trans people be spoken be subjected to by our national broadcaster?
You cannot say this and remain in office. He has to go. And Democrats have to make an enormous deal out of threats to exterminate an entire group of people.
Someday soon hes going to be over and trans folk will continue to exist and, hopefully, thrive, for as long as there are humans on this planet.
Really heartwrenching, important read
Miscarriage is painful, sometimes more so than labor itself. Doctors at best prescribe alternating ibuprofen and tylenol. Why do we let people with the capacity for pregnancy suffer when there are more pain treatment options on the market than ever? My latest for PUP Ideas:
the literal position of the trump administration is that any school that has any more than a smattering of black students is engaged in illegal racial discrimination against whites www.nytimes.com/2026/09/03/b...
Trump Moves to Strip Tax Exemption From Schools That Aid Minority Students (Gift Article)
The Treasury Department released rules that would prevent schools with race-based programs from qualifying for tax-exempt status, a threat to both higher education and other private schools.

The consequences across higher ed - where many institutions have already been complying in advance - will be profound. We need our leaders and orgs to stand up for our shared mission and values.

This article succeeds where most on the same topic fail (most notably Heller's infamous New Yorker piece on the 'end of the English major') bc it shows the relationship between 'declining majors' and 𝘴𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤, 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 defunding and disinvestment in programs administrators want to diminish or end.

In 2024, Moulton said he didn't want his daughters, then 3 and 6, to be "run over on the playing by a formerly male athlete." the in-town soccer league they would have been eligible to play in WAS COED AT THE TIME. Oh, and he gave an absolute loser non-apology about it.

Yale’s Office of Public Affairs banned reporters from Yale’s campus today. It’s corroborated by Francie Diep in her story for the @chronicle.com. This was an attempt to squelch press coverage today of the rally protesting Yale’s attacks on freedom of expression, their pending deal with Trump. 1/

When does pregnancy begin? The lines we construct have implications for miscarriage, abortion, and more.
Jesus Christ, this. Platner was given the benefit of the doubt despite having a fucking Totenkopf tattoo on his own skin, while many of the same people are demanding El-Sayed answer for any random comment from anyone who supports him.
The value of Graham Platner is that right up until all his red flags came toppling down upon him is that he is the most naked example of the amount of grace & credibility Simply Being White grants you. Compared to Abdul El-Sayed, who has to re-earn every ounce of credibility he has on a daily basis.
