I do not like when the nerds who post graphs on here are all going "oof" and "jesus christ" at the same time

So, I was taught the rule of thumb is - 1 percentage point rise in gilt yields equates to £12 billion per year to gvnt borrowing costs. Not sure if that is still the case, but still, in that ball park. Surely Labour needs to be REALLY CLEAR on what this means and why it is happening.
