I've been trying to go to sleep for 2 hours but I'm having a nerve pain flare up so bad I've just been laying in bed literally screaming from the pain and nothing is helping

Sorry I haven't been around much, I've been going through a lot lately and I feel like i haven't had much to say that isn't just "I'm suffering" 🥲 How is everyone?

“this person is bad so their work was always bad” is also a really dangerous view to take because it leads to - unconscious or not - a bias towards “but I do like this other person’s work, ergo they must be a good person” which, as we have seen over and over, is simply not true

What happens a lot on social media is when someone (Warren Ellis, Neil Gaiman now Ed Brubaker) has allegations thrown at them people tend to leap out the woodwork saying "their work was never good." That helps no one as it's irrelevant. What matters is their actions and what they did.

i just LOVE it when my rsd flares up so bad that i'm fully convinced everyone who's ever so much as looked at despises me to my core. cool, cool cool cool cool cool

whenever I watch an anime that I can tell has influences outside of anime, it makes me feel more strongly about how animation is a MEDIUM and not a GENRE and when it is fully behaving as a genre, you have a problem

I've definitely made myself not think about it anymore because of how soul crushingly depressing it is but I have utterly given up on ever selling a book again
