Women are unsafe on a daily basis - statistically due to men they already know. Want to make women safer? Change rape laws, fund refuges properly, end femicide, address misogyny in boys and men, improve healthcare. Taking aim at trans women does nothing to make women safer.

It reflected the US Government’s long silence on AIDS. 24,559 Americans died of AIDS before Reagan publicly referred to the disease.
