the people you hurt, even unintentionally, don't have to hear your apology if they don't want to. they don't owe you that. so if you reach out to apologize and are rebuffed, just take the L and move on. we all take them sometimes. if you can't respect that simple boundary, that's a huge red flag.

I get it, and it's nothing the artists or writers have done wrong, but I just hate seeing long, apologetic hiatus announcements. Ma'am, that is simply not my business. Take whatever time you need for whatever reason you need to. I am not your boss. Please never apologize for not being healthy.
