This is a misleading question! LEGAL REGULATION of drugs RESTRICTS ACCESS to drugs/ unlike the free for all of illegally sold drugs we have under prohibition and Labour.

It's interesting the way Ian Dale reframed a question on Green drug policy to @zackpolanski.bsky.social as "Is it safe to *allow easier access* to drugs" - an incredibly leading question. It implies access to drugs is not currently easy, and that regulating makes it easier. Both are untrue.

1/15 The Labour Party are coming for the Green Party on drug policy. And they are doing it by sensationalising and mispresenting the policy. This is politics driven by focus group, that aims to smear and misinform at best - or lie and disinform at worst.

To those people, I say: please know that I stand with you - today, tomorrow and always. The Green Party continues to support a policy of self-ID to allow trans people to live full lives free from harassment in the gender they know themselves to be. The judge emphasised in his speech that trans people are still protected under the law, but it is for government to now demonstrate how this will be achieved.
