Use reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is “cheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.
Sometimes I find myself fretting ‘oh fuck what if someone finds the ref image I used for this comm and recognizes it and Gets Mad At Me’ as if that’s at all realistic lol I just worry constantly How’re you supposed to draw something if you’re just guessing at what it actually looks like….
