Hey! So after seventeen and a half years, October 2nd will be my last day at IGN. It was genuinely a dream come true to do this thing for so long alongside some of the most talented people on earth. I got to travel the world, meet my heroes, and make a ton of really fun shows and videos. An honor ♥️

Welp. Starting in November, I will no longer be employed by IGN. It's been a hell of a ride and I cannot understate how much of an honor and a privilege the last 11+ years have been. This was a dream job, but the best part of IGN is, was, and always will be the people.

Seth isn't on Bluesky, so he asked me to share the news that he's just been laid off from IGN. Seth is bright, funny, and inspiring. He gave me so many opportunities and made every day better. I will miss him dearly, and whoever hires him next will be very, very lucky.

25 years ago, terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people, including 2,753 New Yorkers. As we remember that terrible day, let us also remember the first responders, office workers and strangers who ran toward danger to help each other.

I don’t talk about that day much. I still struggle to describe the silence of the city that night and it’ll probably stay with me for the rest of my life. Beyond grateful that this is the person who now leads our city 🏙️🙏
