Every smoke alarm in the house decided to expire at exactly 3am last night and I didn't get to sleep until like 6am so today has been such a fucking nightmare lol On the bright side I guess the housemate got new ones which is good because the old ones were installed in, uh, 2006.
I promise some owed art will be posted in the next few days (probably sunday?) I'm just overcome but an existential fury the last few days On an unrelated(?) note, if you drive I suggest getting a jerry can and filling it up this weekend, then storing it somewhere cool until you need it.
When I was a child I hated rich people on sheer instinct. As an adult I hate rich people for the world they've built, and the world they ruined to do it.
When this is all over I hope we finally get around to the unanimous understanding that anybody connected to Harvard or any of the other ivys isn't worth taking serious whatsoever

Something I have often thought but rarely said in public is this: Even bad people need friends. You cannot practice a politics of radical forgiveness *and* one of irredeemable sin at the same time. You have to choose. Obviously you can get granular with this, but it behooves us to self-examine.

I love buses and I love taking public transit but, lol I departed the apartment at like 12:45 to go to my dermatologist appointment, arrived early (a little after 2:00), and was in the building for less than 20 minutes in total. I did not arrive home until almost 5pm
Love it being 90 degrees out and having no AC but not being able to open the window because the air is poison. Super cool.
