Good point. I read the story with my chough head on & not how it reads which is not clear on the 161 number - that is choughlets fledged & not the total number of choughs found in Cornwall (poke @rspbengland.bsky.social ) that is way over 300 birds & how they are spreading, they ARE taking over 💪🏻
