I see this is back on iPlayer. My then boss (now retired) David Hay appears in it, and we all contributed lots of images, footage and information. It’s a great programme and, I’m told, one of the most popular episodes of the Timeshift strand.

I supported putting a break in the Circle Line at Edgware Road. But they should've changed its name. With the break it's not a circle. It's wrong and it's still not too late to rename it. If they called it the Marigold Line they wouldn't even need to change the colour on the map.

It was a year ago today I was in a hospital bed choosing my birthday lunch knowing that the next morning I was literally off to Brain surgery. So thank you all, optician that spotted something odd and of course all those NHS staff for enabling me to see another one. I remain humbled and grateful 💙
This is an unpopular position but: having worked with him a bit, I always thought Tim Davie was a highly competent leader and given his commercial instincts, was probably the best person to lead the BBC through its next charter renewal. I think this is very bad news for anyone who values the BBC.
