Phone feature wishlist: I would find it useful if iOS had a “default audio playback” setting so that when I press play on the headphones and the OS can’t determine which app was most recently playing audio, it can default to Overcast which is going to be the correct answer 95 per cent of the time.

Yeah, Kat Tenbarge was much nicer to Jack Osbourne than I would have been, I would have just told him to go fuck himself. Also, if you're going to accuse a writer or journalist of using "AI" on the basis of em dashes, absolutely positively go fuck yourself.

So I woke up this morning to find out that Ozzy Osbourne’s son made a video falsely accusing me of using AI to write a Rolling Stone article about the Tate brothers.

Just to be clear on this article, the position I took isn't "developers need to be more brave" but "funding needs to be more brave". Developers make all the cool stuff, just because they want to - the funding side hits it with market research and fear and growth targets and shareholders.

We need games like Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Balatro, and Peak as a cure for the "fear" in the industry, say experts www.gamesradar.com/games/we-nee...

Went back and forth on the graphic so many times. Really wanted the bubble chart (which I do like) to stand by itself, but couldn't get a way of labelling that I was happy with. A few ways that nearly worked, but never quite there.

We should really just make citizen reporting of this sort of thing far easier? I get resourcing wardens etc is hard but if there was a easy way to upload people parking illegally etc. Then it'd be huge boon for councils and wider society

Just now this guy got out of his car which was parked in a bus lane when I asked him to move and took a photo. Told me he was going to take my phone and shove it down my throat. I told him he wasn't and he got back in and drove off after I stood there for a couple of minutes.

Shout out to the man on the train calling his bank about ID theft and who has read his name, postcode, and the long number on his card to the whole carriage.

It's still interesting how the phrase "Games Workshop might be Britain's most culturally significant company*" will cause most people to do a double take (or a "sorry, what's Games Workshop?") *obviously Psygnosis->Rockstar North is the chief competitor, if it still meaningfully counts as British

Always fun to look at the Games Workshop annual report. “in the last financial period we sold over five million novels.”
