We told an Irish American girl that when the Muppets was released in Ireland, Kermit the Frog was called Dermot the Frog because Cromwell’s son was a Kermit.

It’s more humane for the victim than lethal injection, but the livestreaming and revelry around it is peculiarly unsettling because it shows how MAGA refuses to see justice as impersonal and therefore in need of the grotesque medical theatre of lethal injection.

This is the oldest sample of Hebrew text with European musical notation. It's an autograph manuscript of Obadiah the Proselyte, a Norman-Italian priest who converted to Judaism in 1102. The BBC hates anything that might be construed as having serious cultural weight. It sees it, at best, as out of touch and at worst ‘elitist’. Which it drives it into becoming by treating it with scorn.

You and Yours (which I kind of hate), Thinking Allowed and Free Thinking are exactly the sort of programming that the BBC is i) good at, ii) not haemorrhaging money to make.
