Just a reminder as the new academic year kicks off - the UK government has deliberately, ruthlessly, throttled the recruitment of international students, solely to pander to racists, and the resultant 25%+ fall in numbers can and will only accelerate some universities into bankruptcy.

It would be so helpful if - every so often - we could just sent out a general communication saying "I think I have caught up on email, if you are still waiting for me to respond I have forgotten, please get in touch." That would make my life measurably better.

Relative child poverty has remained stubbornly high over the last twenty years and has risen over the past decade. Without action, levels will soon break records. Scrapping the two-child limit in full would be the most targeted and cost-effective way of reducing child poverty.
