What a wonderful weekend at #haconf25. Liverpool was beautiful and the workshops were all on point. See you in Newcastle (and yes I've changed my mind about that).
Superb work from @colinmccormick.bsky.social and @katieamery.bsky.social - genuinely inspiring and can’t wait to read the book about Liverpool and the Transatlantic Slave Trade #haconf25

The thing I really enjoyed about #soane25 yesterday was the people who explained how things hadn't worked first time. They were honest about their mistakes. Teaching isn't an exact science and it was joyful to hear of people's experimentation. More honesty and failures at conferences please.
Back in Bristol after a brilliant day at #Soane25. Chapeau to @michaeldoron.bsky.social for organising another cracking conference. Delivering that speech at the end with Eamonn Duffy sitting in front row was one of the more marginally terrifying things I've ever done.
#Soane25 will be a cracker. Just look at the keynotes. @richkhistory.bsky.social is inspirational in his ambition & scholarship – a must listen. Then Eamon Duffy talking with Steve Mastin who famously used Duffy's research to recreate Morebath in his classroom! #Historyteachers do not miss this.

Ok the baby didn't completely trash my Spotify. But she did reduce my TayTay listening. I'm only in the top 8% of listeners this year. Serious reduction from last year 😂. #wrapped
