I admit that I have trouble finding something in krita which behaves as mixer brushes in Photoshop. I need to do some painterly stuff soon. Maybe I need to buy Rebel for paint and keep Krita for general digital art. Dunno.
The original version of this was posted on my FAisDM (felicitousArtisan is Darth Mongoose) Tumblr many years ago. I drew it at about 11pm right before going to bed, trying to express something I felt about art. When I woke up it kinda blew up.
Every time I search for references is a painful process through tons of bland AI images. It’s a sad work nowadays. I used to like it once.

It’s my birthday today! ✨🎉 This is where I usually share some of my polished artwork, but this somewhat messy watercolour from my sketchbook does a better job at representing the energy I would like to bring into the next year of my life.
Always kind of thinking about Marisa Tomei's 3/4 length sleeve (?), mock neck (?), lightly shoulder-padded (?), floral catsuit from MY COUSIN VINNY so I sketched it.
Figure study. Hips need to be a smidge lower. But overall I’m quite happy with this one.
