I know indie designer opinions on D&D are a dime a dozen, but I ran it for a friend who had never really played an RPG like it before and I think my biggest gripe was that D&D is a game that makes me say no a lot, especially in combat. It is a game full of stop signs.

This game is so deeply special. I've had the opportunity to playtest it over the last few months and I think about it alllll the time. It's so rare to find a game that is feels so familiar in approach and emotional impact while also being unique/fresh - I need it to exist physically so bad

We've run an honest campaign with realistic funding and zero scope-creep add-ons and stretch goals. Even if we don't fund, I'm really proud of the work we've done so far. I applaud RP and the team for this level of transparency.

Alright so, we need to think about the possibility that Breathless may fail to fund. I'd hate this. But it's possible. This was super hard to record and I hope it helps other creators in the space. If you like it, please share the video around because we're living in difficult times.
