I'm going to wade into some Discourse here. I don't believe getting a card with "Ally" on it makes you an ally. Maybe you are an ally. Maybe you do the work, you show up and you lift marginalized voices as best you can. But you shouldn't get a card for it. Being an ally is a verb, not a label.
