33, they/them, anime blond appreciator

slowly progressing through my reread of the Fitz books and in fool's errand the yaoi moments just keep coming. I feel like a tween being queerbaited by 2000s shoujo anime all over again (positive. I think)

primer for non-nba fans tuning into the finals: the knicks and spurs will have to find the letters N, B, and A that are located somewhere on the court. they'll be given clues by helping various people – chasing down a little kid's lost balloon, helping a farmer return his chickens to the coop, etc

coming up with a new idea called "driving like shit olympics". no more bland, unprovable statements like "california drivers are the WORST" allowed. whichever state wins every 4 years gets a moonshot-sized public transit investment to get those fuckers off the road

So many people over decades have been called conspiracy theorists for suggesting that U.S. intervention is driven by capitalist interests, and the interests of the oil industry in particular. Now the president just says it outright in press conferences and interviews.

Q: China, Russia, and Iran have interests in Venezuela. How does this operation affect your relationships with them? TRUMP: In terms of other countries that want oil, we're in the oil business. We're gonna sell it to them. We'll be selling oil.

That the museum was pushed into retracting the post because some people thought it meant that Gazans shouldn't be subject to horror is a horror. Never Again means Never Again for anyone. For the Jews. For the Palestinians. For the Sudanese. For anyone. Collective safety keeps us safe.

The Los Angeles Holocaust Museum made a social media post with a graphic reading: "'Never again' can't only mean never again for Jews." After a backlash from some voices online, they retracted the post and apologized.
