Sooooo almost just got hit by an ebiker going a billion mph down 6th Ave. Truly could have died. It’s such a conundrum— they shouldn’t be in traffic with cars because it’s dangerous for them but being with regular bikes and peds is dangerous for us. Are protected e-bike lanes a thing???

In a less deranged version of our country, skies full of smoke would inspire us to bold climate action. There’s an American majority that loves blue skies & air we can breathe more than fossil fuel profits.

Soooo NYC how are we getting the littles who can’t mask to daycare this morning? Just pushing the stroller as fast as possible? Trying to mask them for the short walk? (Keeping our toddler home isn’t an option today)

Today is Wednesday, July 15 Good lunchtime❤️ eat take your meds hydrate tell your people you love them let them love you back (& if you're going to watch the game, eat your Wheaties!) We are here. This is real. Let's build a home for each other & fight like hell. All you fascists bound to lose✊

Ok NYC! My partner has Fridays off for a chunk of the summer and wants to explore more neighborhoods in our wonderful city. So would love to know: 1) what are neighborhoods he should check out? 2) what are shops/cafes/parks/streets he should go to there? 3) what are the hidden gems? Thanks all!!

I've written before about how one issue with anti-Zionist activism is that it's easy to slip into antisemitic rhetoric if you're not vigilant. Sometimes our friends screw up and aren't as vigilant as usual. That doesn't make them not our friends. It just means needing to call them back in.

This is what Jewish & Muslim solidarity looks like. Neighbors coming together around a vision of shared safety, dignity & peace. In NYC. In DC. In Israel & Palestine, and across the world.

I'm lucky to call Aziz Abu Sarah an old friend, and I was grateful to meet Maoz Inon this year. So many of my Palestinian and Israeli friends come to their activism for justice via profound loss, as do I. I'm truly thrilled that our mayor met them.

Some people are going to call the mayor an antisemite for this meeting, while others will call him a liberal sellout. Meanwhile, I call it being a decent person. www.haaretz.com/us-news/2026...
