I think by now we're all familiar with the AI marketing emails that authors have been getting. I got one about the Fartacular. And it just had to share it. This may be the only time AI has created real art.

Seeing complaints online that authors 'gatekeep' information…! Absolute nonsense. There is no industry or craft in the world which is so comprehensively written about, studied, and discussed as fiction writing, and every author I know welcomes new writers who are serious about giving it a go.
I can't tell you what I'm currently working on, but I CAN show some of the references I've provided for the artist.
This is an @alexsegura.com appreciation post for all he does to use his talent, his platform, and his moral compass for good.

I was thinking about She-Hulk, as you do, when my brain suddenly started singing, "We don't talk about She-Hulk, no no..." To the tune of "We don't talk about Bruno." Anyway. That's my story.

Ted & Ro are cartooning geniuses and you would be a fool to not pick up The Worst Man. Even if you don't read comics, DO IT FOR TED'S BIRTHDAY!
Chums, as of today I’m officially 40 years old. I don’t really do anything particular for my birthday, but if you’d like to help me celebrate I would ask that you go into the #WorstManOGN tag and share a post in there that you think is cool. Thank you ❤️
We went to Switzerland instead of SDCC, but still did plenty of nerd stuff. We saw the HR Giger Museum, the Queen Studio Experience, a chocolate factory, and a Charlie Chaplin museum. And of course we ate fondue... Twice.
Hello from the Charlie Chaplin museum in Switzerland

I am not even at SDCC and I feel exhausted from all the SDCC posts. (In the best possible way)
Hassan finally having an Eisner for his lettering is just so, so correct. No one does what he does, no one thinks like he thinks, he’s a truly brilliant artist.
And Best Letterer goes to Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou,. Deniz Camp comes up to read Hass's speech which praises all his fellow nominees in a very gracious speech, and also Nate Piekos for his book about lettering #eisnerawards #SDCC

#SDCC comic con: our daughter left her 3D printed black dragon in the restroom near E/Starbucks. She printed it herself and is devastated. We checked the restroom and lost and found which means someone picked it up. If you bring it to 5552 I will give you a signed comic as reward
If anyone at SDCC says something nice about me, let me know. But if they say something mean, let Khary know.
Sitting on a plane to Switzerland and still having big time SDCC FOMO
