As an apology for the cruel scene in BFDIA 18, the Jacknjellify Company should implement this redesign of Book in BFDIA 19. Who agrees?

I've just pushed a small change to cleanEdge that better handles a specific edge case, and a change to the web tool to fix some minor stray pixels in some cases. here's some before and after comparisons :) bsky.app/profile/torc...

I made a pixel art upscaling/rotation algorithm called cleanEdge! It makes rotating pixel art as clean as possible torcado.com/cleanEdge I made a tool for it too! drop your sprites in and get some nice rotated or upscaled versions :)

In Mario & Luigi: Brothership, Mario and Luigi communicate mostly by saying each other's names. By the time the first dialogue box appears 5 minutes in, Mario has already said "Luigi" 21 times, and Luigi has already said "Mario" 14 times.

"???: Oh! Luigi!" This is the game's first dialogue box, which appears about 5 minutes into gameplay. Mario has already said "Luigi" 21 times by now. Luigi has already said "Mario" 14 times by now. Source: Supper Mario Broth, screenshot taken on original hardware, game: M&L:Brothership

On this Trans Day of Remembrance, now more than ever, we need to honour & remember those that came before us who we’ve lost to anti-trans hatred & violence. Here’s a list of people just from the US this year alone, though likely incomplete. Their losses will not be in vain! Hate will not win!

Here are the 28 transgender Americans lost to violence so far this year

The epidemic of fatal violence against trans people in the U.S. continues.

Fun fact: If someone quotes a post of yours in a way that is unwelcome (as is commonplace on Twitter/X) there is a tool to combat the unwanted attention. Simply click the three dot menu on the quote post & click "Detach quote". This removes your post from their quote post. Useful to know, do share!

Lots of people joining Bluesky again! Welcome! Whether you just joined, or you created an account decades ago and are gonna start posting now, here are some tips to enhance the experience. Share widely for all newcomers 🦋

Tips for moving from Xitter to Bluesky Before you start following people, fill out your profile! Bio, PFP, banner, and post at least 5 to 10 things. Just reuse your top 10 banger tweets—recycling is encouraged! This way, when people see you followed them and they check your profile, they’ll know what you are about and might follow back. Turn off NSFW filters in Moderation > Content Filtering Find your friends using a tool like skeet.labnotes.org or Sky Follower Bridge. Not perfect, but they’ll find the majority of the people you were following. Turn on “show posts from my feeds” in Settings > Home Feed Preferences. This will add random posts from them to your main feed, but tweaked to your liking, no ads and BS. I recommend the Catch Up feed (kinda like a “best of”). Tweak Reply Filters to something that works for you, also at Settings > Home Feed Preferences. This shows replies from people you follow to anyone else on your main feed... (ALT text too long, continues in comments)
