Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.
Dolly Parton was such a light in my early, scared life. I was a part of her reading program, which started me on the path I'm still on, always wanting to learn. She always had a strong voice for people being allowed to exist, and it gave me early courage to be me. Her legacy is grand and beautiful.

When I go to the yaoi event, there are far too many people there that are upset that I have shown up for yaoi when /they/ are there to be sexy at a general kink event. Guys, I'm going to the explicitly yaoi focused event. I'm allowed to be there.

I have been sick ALL year I swear. Pneumonia, COVID, flu, mono episode (I think, it was a month of fatigue), rhinovirus, It's been, like, 40% of my year. Plus a nasty ankle sprain on top of it. My therapist tells me it's because I'm worn out. I miss being a person 😭

I feel like my biggest piece of advice for not getting scammed (as someone who is, like, $7k in the hole on dropped commissions) is commission people who show the ability to feel shame. Every time I get scammed, it's by people who have never shown any shame on their profile for dropping the ball.
